Going the Extra Distance

I am on active duty with the U.S. Navy and was transferred to Fort Des Moines. I searched the web and found The Legacy and contacted Angie Dehmer. She was extremely helpful from day one and provided all the information we needed to know. Angie and Jamie Hutchison worked closely with us and adjusted their schedules to help us make the best use of our weekend visits. As the house came together, we also worked with Ron McGrean on the jobsite. He always went the extra distance answering our questions and solving problems prior to the house closing. Our experience buying our first single family home was very positive. Hubbell builds a quality home and we are very pleased to live in one.

Teamwork

We purchased our Legacy townhome in early January and are very happy with the floor plan and space. We want to especially compliment our Hubbell representatives, Angie Dehmer, Jamie Hutchison and Ron McGrean. It would be difficult for us to recall a more helpful team. Responsive

I have to say, that in our 30 years of moving around the world with the military and having purchased several homes during that time, this purchase has been the most pleasurable so far. Ron McGrean is very professional, responsive and tells you what you need to know. The large window in the basement was leaking water and water was running down the wall. Status: FIXED, Ron and his crew have already responded and replaced the defective window. It looks great and we appreciate the responsiveness. You should be proud to have such representation. I know we are. Again, thank you for having such a great Hubbell team.

Thrilled to be in my new home

A note of thanks:

As I sit quietly on a Saturday morning, coffee in hand, I am just thrilled to be in my new home. I moved in on December 14th, and have loved being here every minute.

I have never built a new home, and several friends expressed concern that it would be too taxing for me. However, with the guidance of the Hubbell sales staff and regular communication, I thought it was one of the top experiences of my life. Certainly from the standpoint of feeling confident that I would end up with a beautiful home in the end! I enjoyed meeting everyone who worked on my home, and found the builder to be most helpful with suggestions. The closing process was great, and I have full confidence that if anything needs further attention, everyone is close by.

My girls, aged 9 and 14, have shared in the excitement and are very proud of their new home. They were able to participate in many decisions, and are so happy with their “very green and very blue” rooms that they chose! We are all looking forward to using the bike trails and the swimming pool. It is just wonderful being close to the schools, the YMCA and the library.

So, to everyone at Hubbell, a big thank you. We feel that we have joined a community, versus just building a home. We look forward to the New Year with the anticipation that we will be able to meet many new neighbors. With Hubbell’s plans for expansion, we will have that opportunity for years! Thank you,

Knowledgeable

We have recently purchased a new home from Hubbell Homes and we want to let you know the experience was great! We felt we were very fortunate to have Ron McGrean as our superintendent. Ron is very detailed and knowledgeable and he follows through with what he says. Angie Dehmer and Jamie Hutchison have been and continue to be a great help with the many questions we ask every day. We made many trips to the model home to talk to Angie and to look at the Chesney and we always felt welcome and Angie always returned phone calls and emails timely. Doug Bennett is enjoyable to work with as well. Doug took our requests in stride and with the help of the rest of the team we worked out the many details and we are in our new home.

We really like the information in the Homeowner Manual, the care, usage and maintenance of the products and materials. I have been in the building business for 30 years and know the many obstacles you can run in to as the builder. The only thing that is really going to make or break a home buying experience is your people and how well they work as a team and your team works very well together.

Quality

We own a home in Days Run which we bought from Hubbell Homes. We love the home very much. It seems to be built very well. Everyone has been very nice at Hubbell Homes especially Shawn Pruismann in the office. The neighbors are really great too.

We do appreciate the good quality home, quality serivce and good price on the house. It seems to have very few problems because it was built well. We would definitely be happy to see many other people buy a Hubbell Home.

Malinda Schroeder has been very helpful and puts up with all my questions with such patience. She really is part of what made the sale for me and has made the process as stress free as possible.
